When British electro-pop trio Years & Years – Olly Alexander, Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen – returned to the UK charts with their second album, Palo Santo, the band had a strong concept to deliver. The dystopian, fictional world populated by a majority android nation sees gender blending and sexual ambiguity in full force.
