Leigh Jagger joins CrowdComms board

Former Banks Sadler CEO, Leigh Jagger has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director at event technology supplier, CrowdComms.

Jagger brings a wealth of experience to CrowdComms, having spent more than 30 years working in the event industry. Having spent 10 years as the first female Managing Director at event agency Banks Sadler, Leigh grew the business and drove expansion before it was acquired by American Express Global Business Travel in 2017.

Jagger subsequently held the role of interim CEO of EVCOM. She now sits on the board of, and acts as a Non-Executive Director to, several leading event agencies. Jagger’s addition to the CrowdComms board brings even more insight into the needs of the event planner when it comes to virtual and hybrid events.

“I am delighted to be joining the CrowdComms board. Having worked both agency side and directly with global corporate clients on their events and engagement strategies, I am really looking forward to using this experience to support the CrowdComms board in developing their product, strategies and team,” Jagger explained.

“There are so many reasons why I believe CrowdComms is incredibly well placed in the event tech space. Their portfolio of products are innovative, engaging and easy to use. I have also been blown away by the level of customer service and support offered by the team to their clients. They really do act as an extension of the teams they are working with – whether that is behind the scenes on behalf of an agency or direct with a client.”

CrowdComms Managing Director, Matthew Allen added: “We are thrilled to have Leigh join our board. She has a fantastic reputation and unrivalled experience in the event industry, so she knows exactly what event planners need from us. As the industry restarts again, we are excited to be working with our clients and supporting them with our event platform to ensure they have all the support they need to deliver fantastic events.”
