During the 30th edition Prolight + Sound at Messe Frankfurt, Highlite International presented a wide range of new and updated products across its renowned brands: Showtec, Infinity, DAP, DMT, Showgear, and Wentex. Visitors were treated to product premieres, hands-on demos, and an immersive showcase powered by the latest in lighting, audio, and rigging solutions.
Highlite expresses its gratitude for the overwhelming response and enthusiasm of the visitors. The vibe felt invigorating and attendees were inspired by the presentation of the stand as a whole, with the many new products available for hands-on experience.
From Showtec there were many exciting new products and additions to existing series:
– XPRESSION Series: 3 brand new indoor moving heads made their debut at the show: the XPRESSION 2000S Spot, the 2000B Beam, and the 2000W WashBeam. They feature extensive matching colours, effects and controls to create a unified lighting experience across the series and offer customisable programs for unique stand-alone experiences.
– IP Pixelstrip: a versatile system of IP65-rated LED bars, controlled by a dedicated controller—with convenient coupling hardware for creating 3D setups.- The Goliath was presented to the audience for the first time. This stunning retro light with 320 W LED with tungsten dimming and three LED rings with no less than 264 individually controllable RGB LEDs offer a great addition to large-scale events.
– The Titan Strobe 200 FX and Stage Blinder 200 Blaze premiered as expansions to Showtec’s line of stand-alone effect lights. They feature powerful strobe and blinder lights with additional RGB LEDs for intricate effects.
– Also freshly introduced were the Spectra Strobe and Spectra Wash: two brilliant IP65-rated LED light bars with compatible enclosures for seamlessly mixing both models and adaptable to a wide range of applications.
– Titan Strobe FLEX FX & Octostrip FLEX Set: innovative IP65 lighting solutions that deliver dynamic effects for any event.
Infinity presented their new high-end, IP65-rated Furion series of moving heads, which were seen in action during a large live demonstration show at the event, followed by a comprehensive product presentation of all models:
– P602 & P402 profiles: ideal for theatres
– S602 & S402 spots: perfect for large venues
– W602 & W402 washbeams: ideal for versatile applications
– B402 beam: razor-sharp beam effects
– H402 hybrid: multi-talented all-rounder
The show was supported by the latest, soon-to-be-revealed addition to the Furion series—the Furion FX402 Bar. Attendees were treated to stunning and unique effects from this high-end lighting fixture, which is still under development. More details to follow soon.
Also from Infinity, the Raccoon series took its place in the spotlight with the new Raccoon W40/4 wash, shouldered by the four Raccoon Par models and the S420/4 strobe/wash.
DAP presented their new TA series of DSP-powered touring amplifiers and their new SI series of install amplifiers. Several new install products were also launched, including the MP-300SBU streaming media player, the SPA-100 Streaming Pre-Amplifier, the MP-100DBT media player with DAB+, and the PA-5500SA with streaming media player and DAB+.
Showgear drew the attention of visitors with handy rigging accessories, a brand-new comprehensive line of PowerCore power distribution products, and added several new couplers such as the Snap Coupler. The new Terrafix line showed innovative solutions for creating sturdy outdoor ground mounts.
From Wentex, their handy Pipe & Drape Case for FOH Kit showed a practical way to store your Pipe & Drape hardware, and their new online SET Frame Configurator demonstrated a very convenient way to design and order your SET Frame hardware for building displays, visuals, exhibition stands and exposition walls.
In conjunction with the 30th anniversary of Prolight + Sound, Highlite introduced the second edition of its Spotlight magazine. This spring edition features all the season’s new products and many more exciting details. ProLight + Sound 2025 offered a great opportunity for Highlite to emphasise its ongoing mission to empower creative light designers with flexible, future-proof tools. With innovation at its core and hands-on engagement with industry professionals, the show was a success across all fronts.
