Allen & Heath Goes Big for NAMM Believe in Music Week

NAMM Believe in Music Week is a new digital event, featuring a robust marketplace, cutting-edge education, entertainment and live music, providing a platform to power our industry’s recovery and support those in need. Allen & Heath will be participating in multiple aspects of the online event, with roughly two dozen planned sessions in addition to hosting their virtual exhibit space.

“Rather than look at 2021 as being downsized or limited in scope and comparing to the in-person 2020 NAMM Show, we’re focusing on the expanded possibilities with the new format,” shared Allen & Heath USA marketing maestro Jeff Hawley. “Not only are we able to offer unique content and information to support our dealers and sales partners, we also have the potential to connect with audio engineers across all experience levels and get in quality hang time. We have carefully curated our event schedule to provide a bit of something for everyone.”

Showcasing their recent sponsorship of the hit Signal to Noise Podcast, Allen & Heath will be premiering a special NAMM Believe in Music Week episode featuring NAMM President & CEO Joe Lamond and veteran touring engineer Michael Bangs (Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, George Strait, Katy Perry, Tom Petty). “We are honoured and excited to have our podcast be a part of NAMM this year,” said Signal to Noise Podcast host Michael Lawrence. “For a lot of people, Believe in Music Week is going to be their first NAMM-related experience and we’re up to the challenge of trying to recreate a bit of the fun and zaniness that is part of the usual NAMM Show magic.”

The company will be participating in a number of events focused on the worship market, including a joint session with Audinate entitled Dante in Worship, which presents real world application examples and tips from expert system designers and engineers. “The entire Allen & Heath line has been a hit with churches of all shapes and sizes,” according to Quincy Owen Solutions Sr. Consultant Judson Bartels. “Combining the power of desks like SQ and Avantis with the flexibility that Dante brings is huge. I’ll be sharing some of the tricks I’ve picked up and hope to see you at the ‘booth’ soon.”

Allen & Heath is also supporting the Worship Musician Chapel, a 30 minute TV program featuring contemporary Christian musician and worship pastor Lincoln Brewster. “We love working with Allen & Heath and they have been great supporters of the worship market for years,” noted Worship Musician publisher Bruce Adolph. “The WM Chapel event with Lincoln is going to be off the charts cool—worship, devotion, and learning. See you there!”

While primarily focused on their own event calendar, the UK-based manufacturer will be tuned in and anxiously awaiting the 36th Annual TEC Awards, held for the first time as a digital event within the new Believe in Music Week format. “We’ll all be watching live and crossing our fingers for Avantis to grab our third consecutive Small Format Console Technology TEC Award and continue the winning streak,” added Hawley. “While the excitement of the usual in-person event may be a bit tricky to create in my home office, parking will certainly be much easier.”

In addition to these highlighted events, interactive gear demos (including Spanish language sessions), product development interviews, and ‘Mini Masterclasses’ will be offered through the Allen & Heath Believe in Music brand page. The general Allen & Heath event schedule is available now, with full session details coming to the Believe in Music website January 18th.

All who believe in music are invited to join the celebration and support the free event. Registration information is available here.
