EM Acoustics will return to the Royal Armouries in Leeds this May for PLASA Focus 2026. In addition to their exhibition booth, EM Acoustics will also operate a dedicated demo space, a first for the brand at this event.
Following the extremely successful launch of two new cardioid subwoofers at Integrated Systems Europe earlier this year, EM Acoustics is looking forwards to continuing its commitment to the UK’s professional audio community at the show.
“It’s been a year of strong growth for us, and we are thrilled to be back at Leeds,” confirmed Greg Clarke, Brand Manager at EM Acoustics. “We are delighted to be running a demo space this year, giving attendees the chance to hear a selection of our smaller boxes, and our brilliant new cardioid subs, in a welcoming and unpressurised environment.”
The decision to opt for a dedicated demo room will allow attendees who may not have heard EM Acoustics products to experience them first-hand, reflecting the manufacturers’ ongoing commitment to the live events and professional audio market in the North of the UK.
The demo space is conveniently located in the Arthur Room at the Holiday Inn Express, a moments’ walk from the exhibition floor. Here, the EM Acoustics management team will demonstrate a range of products, including the new CS Series, innovative new custom-finish products and the R4 and R6 from the flagship Reference Series, firm favourites of sound designers and production professionals.
Premiering at the event will be the new S8 super-compact eight-inch installation subwoofer, with visitors invited to enjoy an exclusive prelaunch opportunity to hear its outstanding capabilities. The CS15 compact cardioid subwoofer, designed to meet the needs of live event professionals requiring controlled low-frequency performance in space-conscious environments, will also make its PLASA debut.
Smaller models from the Reference Series, including the ultra-compact R4 and the beautifully proportioned R6, will demonstrate the exceptional full-range precision, clarity and unrivalled headroom that define EM Acoustics’ design philosophy. Also on demo will be a new range of bespoke, premium-finish wooden enclosures that offer a refined, design-led approach for visually sensitive installations.
“From our experience, the audience attending PLASA Leeds is genuinely interested in the latest innovations and technologies in the live and installed sound market,” continued Clarke. “Therefore, the chance for us to demonstrate at this show in particular, especially with a focus on some of our more compact, versatile loudspeakers, represents a brilliant opportunity.”
Attendees will be able to experience the outstanding performance of EM Acoustics loudspeakers across a variety of audio materials, and content input from visitors will be welcomed.
EM Acoustics looks forward to sharing its latest developments with PLASA Focus attendees at Stand N-C10 and in the Arthur Room demo room on the 12 and 13 of May 2026.
