Absen has appointed Graham Kirkpatrick as Industry Development Director of its European team.
The new recruit will work closely with AV consultants, architects and planners, to support the delivery of Absen’s visual solutions across a wide range of projects. His remit will also see him assisting Absen’s regional teams and key partners, drawing on his extensive industry experience to help drive collaboration, consistency and long-term success across the European market.
Kirkpatrick has spent the past decade at Sharp Display Solutions (formerly NEC Display Solutions), where he has developed a reputation as both a trusted technical advocate and a commercially astute advisor. Throughout his career, he has progressed from tackling practical technical challenges to shaping global strategies, always guided by a clear commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering meaningful outcomes.
“After more than 20 years in the AV and wider technology sector, this role feels like an energising next chapter,” shared Kirkpatrick. “Absen is operating in a dynamic and fast-moving part of the market, and I’m looking forward to contributing my experience, supporting colleagues across the region and helping drive success through closer collaboration with the consultant community.”
“Graham’s appointment is an important step in bolstering Absen’s consultant engagement strategy across Europe,” said Emma Liu, Regional President Europe, Absen. “He brings a rare blend of deep technical knowledge and commercial insight supported by a strong understanding of how projects are specified and delivered across Europe. His experience will be instrumental in helping Absen add value where it matters most and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
