Woman-owned tour trucking company takes the High Road

High Road Incorporated, a trailblazing force in the touring industry, providing tour trucking services led by CEO, Sharon Lee, is revolutionising logistics one concert at a time, with an unwavering commitment to the well-being of touring professionals.

With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, the company’s dedication and exceptional performance are celebrated by their employees, clients, and peers in the industry. Notably, they’ve garnered praise from renowned artists like Måneskin, H.E.R., Dropkick Murphys, Collective Soul, Switchfoot, Meshuggah, and more.

Established in 2016 in Nashville, TN, with a second location in Boston, MA, High Road Inc. reflects Lee’s commitment to personal core values and a mission to service clients, vendors, and staff while navigating the highways of success. Guided by the philosophy, “No road is long with good company,” High Road Inc. specialises in catering to the unique needs of clients and partners within the music and live events industry.

Lee’s illustrious career includes spearheading a boutique trucking and logistics company, active participation in Nashville’s emerging artist scene, and contributing to initiatives supporting touring professionals. Her vision and commitment have shaped High Road Inc. into a company embodying the ethos of innovation and integrity, with a strong commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the individuals that are the foundation of the industry.

Lee stated: “In partnership with ACM Lifting Lives and the Lainey Wilson team, High Road Inc. partnered with Mechanics on a Mission to give a vehicle to a touring pro during the TCW Day Off event. Meg Miller, Touring Manager for Lainey Wilson, reached out and shared that a member of their crew’s engine had blown and was in need of a vehicle. I reached out to Brian Sweatt, Executive Director of Mechanics on a Mission, to see what we could do to help. Working with these organisations reaffirms the positive impact we can make when the industry comes together.”

High Road Inc.’s commitment to touring professionals is further demonstrated through its active participation in industry events. Lee moderated several panels at Touring Career Workshop XXI—Balance, featuring well-known industry figures and exploring topics such as Life Balance, Handling Trauma and Grief, The Non-Touring Tour, Making the Money Last, and Getting the Gig, at the Soundcheck Annex in Nashville. The workshop, in its twelfth annual iteration, delved into the theme of “balance,” addressing challenges faced by touring professionals in maintaining well-being both on and off the road.

Contributing valuable insights, Lee also recently participated in the Live Production Summit’s Going the Distance Panel this past January. The panel discussed logistical variances between European and US tours, shedding light on critical aspects impacting tours on both continents. The profound influence of High Road Inc.’s commitment to excellence and steadfast dedication resonates across the company.
