VUE Drops Full Beat in Palermo, Italy

Under the guidance of lead live sound engineer, Rosario “Saro” Tine, Sinergie Group provided system design and rental services for the 5th annual Beat Full Festival. Rounding off Singergie’s 2nd consecutive year providing audio services to the festival, and the 7th major deployment of its VUE inventory during an active 2017 Italian summer festival season.

Citing its Beryllium-packed punch and immense flexibility across a wide array of musical genres, Tine designed a system anchored around the VUE al-12 compact line array. “We saw alternating on stage during the three days a wide range of different artists and styles,” he explained.

“In the first day alone, acts ranged from electro-rock and reggamuffin, to classic rock and drum and bass. Thanks to the flexibility and sonic character of VUE’s Continuous Source Topology, the system delivered flawlessly with each and every act. I can’t think of another system that could have handled such a wide array of material and done it so well.”

The Beat Full main stage boasted 8 al-12 compact line arrays flown per side, with 8 as-418 in the middle in an end-fire configuration, with hs-221 dual 21-inch subwoofers at both ends of the subwoofer array. al-8 stage-mounted line array elements provided front fill.

According to Sinergie’s VUE Italia Marketing Manager, Livio Spallino, the combination of VUE’s versatility and its now well-established reputation for world-class sonic performances has created quite a groundswell of demand in the Italian market.

“The Beat Full Festival finished out a record-setting summer for Sinergie Group with seven completed all-VUE festivals,” said Spallino. “VUE’s versatility has given Sinergie the ability to take on a wide array of business regardless of how challenging the setup or venue. And VUE’s sound quality has enabled us to establish the lead position in the Italian festival market.”
