PRG (Production Resource Group) has announced promotions within its Corporate Events (CE) division, including production veteran Matt Hohmann to Senior Director of Production Services, alongside the addition of five Technical Directors (TDs).
Most recently serving as Director of Production Services, Hohmann originally began his career as a lighting intern at the company before quickly ascending the ranks. His leadership in production services – and close focus on process enhancement and operational excellence – has been pivotal in managing a robust pipeline at PRG. In conjunction with Hohmann’s advancement comes the appointment of Eric Hanson, Justin Juriga, Wendy Coop, James Oyler, and Walker Harris as the division’s new Technical Directors.
This strategic expansion reinforces PRG’s commitment to providing expert technical guidance, early-stage project clarity, and seamless execution for its corporate clients. Reporting to Ariane Coldiron, PRG’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Events, the team will work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure PRG’s solutions align with project needs, enhancing collaboration and efficiency. While Technical Director is a recognised industry title, it takes on a unique focus at PRG where it is designed to complement — rather than compete with — freelance and client TDs.
“As we continue to elevate the impact of our Corporate Events division, I am excited to announce Matt’s well-deserved promotion, along with the appointment of our new Technical Directors,” said Coldiron. “Technical excellence is central to the PRG mission and these developments will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional experiences that create lasting value for our clients.”
Matt Hohmann added: “I am glad to be a part of a company that is continuously innovating and understands how technology can propel the ideas and visions of event producers. Combining strategic planning with a deep production acumen, we’ll ensure that every show is planned, advanced, and resourced properly. We’re proud to reinforce PRG’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence.”
PRG’s Corporate Events division works with brands, agencies, associations, and trade shows, transforming their ideas and vision into production reality. As audiences come to expect more immersive and technically advanced experiences, PRG solutions take on greater value and span services including lighting, audio, staging, LED, projection, engineering, project management, and more.
