Everyone within the outdoor events industry is looking forward to getting back to work this summer, and IPS have launched a deposit guarantee scheme to help event organisers get their infrastructure secured.
Event audiences are desperate to return as soon as it is safe for events to go ahead, although the actual restart date is still to be announced. This lack of clarity is increasingly putting pressure on the finite number of possible event dates for 2021.
The recent Government announcements and roadmap for restrictions being lifted have helped, but it is still hard for organisers to commit to a date. This lack of a date makes it critical for essential infrastructure such as Outdoor Roof Structures to be booked as soon as possible. With the introduction of the IPS COVID-19 deposit guarantee scheme, organisers can now relax knowing that if they have to postpone their event due to changing guidance then IPS will transfer the full deposit to another date up until 31st December 2022.

For the 2021 season, the company is launching a brand new 14m mobile trailer stage alongside a 24m Eurotruss PR15 Roof structure. These new structures offer many opportunities, as the trailer stage is quicker to build onsite than a traditional system, whilst still offering significant roof loadings for production equipment.
The PR15 structure is also a major development boasting the biggest performance area ever offered by an IPS structure. Hopefully, the outdoor events industry will really get an opportunity to demonstrate what makes it so special this summer, returning with some safe and spectacular events on the horizon.
