Gallowglass Celebrates 20th Anniversary

British crewing company Gallowglass is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary in September.

The company came into being when brothers Paul and Nick Grecian pulled together a small team of players from the London Scottish Rugby Club, and has steadily grown into an international group of events services companies.

Gallowglass has supported the Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies at London 2012, as well as the G8 and G20 global summits and the events surrounding the final flight of Concorde.

Group Managing Director Nick Grecian said: “The range of structures that we have built for corporate events is astonishing: from a wooden deck covering 11,000 sq metres of exhibition floor at Barcelona’s International Convention Centre, to a 400 cubic metre dome housing a pop-up exhibition for the Mexico Tourism Board.”

Since 1996, a series of related but independent companies has been added to the Gallowglass stable, offering health and safety consultancy, sustainability support and training.

The most recent addition to the group, Gallowglass Global Event Services, provides overlay solutions for contractors and major event organisers.
