Avolites’ and elektraLite’s distributor has added Italian brand to its lighting line card for US sales and support.
Group One, the US distributor for Avolites and elektraLite lighting products as well as DiGiCo, Calrec and other pro audio lines, has announced that it has now officially inked a US distribution agreement with Designed To Shine (DTS) Lighting. The announcement comes from Jack Kelly, Group One President, and Paolo Albani, DTS Sales and Marketing Director.
Effective as of 1 October, the Farmingdale, NY-based distributor will now handle all US (including Puerto Rico) sales and support activities for the venerable Italian lighting manufacturer. Reporting to Kelly, Avolites National Sales Manager Brad White and elektraLite National Sales Manager Tyler Wise are jointly tasked with spearheading Group One’s efforts with the DTS brand.
“DTS joined Group One on several Lighting Roadshow tours for Avolites and elektraLite this year, and the chemistry between our teams and brands made it obvious that we should be working together,” said Kelly. “Our team actually goes back 25 years with lighting products from Italy, and after investigating the market and DTS’ products over the past quarter, we’re very pleased to announce this new partnership. DTS is a terrific fit to our portfolio of lighting products managed by Brad and Tyler, and we’re confident that we’ll be able to maximise the brand’s visibility to the widest possible audience.”
“We are very proud to start our relationship with Group One and know that they are the right partner to bring our products to the American market,” enthused Albani. “DTS is currently experiencing its best sales year ever thanks to exciting new products and initiatives, and this agreement with Group One as our new US distributor is a solid ‘next step’ in our successful global growth strategy.”
Group One’s Brad White shares his thoughts as well, ‘DTS’ worldwide reputation for quality and performance perfectly complements Group One’s other lighting brands. With all of their new products and innovation, re-launching this Italian-made brand here in the States is already proving to be very exciting.”
