Audiologic Appoints Anna Shahin

Keeping pace with ever-increasing demand for its services, leading provider of audio-visual solutions, Audiologic, has recruited Anna Shahin to the post of Applications Support Engineer. As well as a 1st Class BSc Honours Degree in Audio Recording and Production from the University of Hertfordshire, Anna also studied Speech and Hearing Science at Buffalo University in her native USA.

Throughout her academic career, Anna has gained wide-ranging hands-on experience as a recording studio technician, as well as working on a host of live events as a technical crew member. She will be a key member of the technical team, with a brief to support and advise Audiologic’s customers across projects of every type and scale.

Sales and Marketing Director Andy Lewis welcomes Anna’s appointment: “The AV industry is a fast-evolving environment where it’s essential that sales and distribution are supported by technical practitioners whose appreciation of complex technologies is acute and easily translated in the field. Anna fits the bill to perfection. Her academic expertise is solidly grounded in the real-life experience of the AV sector and we know that she has a terrific amount to offer Audiologic and our customers. She brings with her an unbeatable combination of knowledge and passion for the job and I’m confident she will add significant value to the team.”

Anna Shahin expressed enthusiasm for her new role: “The team here at Audiologic is close-knit and they’ve welcomed me with open arms. I feel very supported, not only by the technical team but also by everyone in the office. In spite of being so new to the company, I feel that my technical experience in live and studio production, combined with the specific training support I’m receiving on our great brands, has already enabled me to utilise my skills to good effect. Playing an active part in supporting our clients promises to be a varied and challenging role that I’m sure I will enjoy and which will significantly enhance my own technical development.”
