American Music and Sound at NAMM Show

American Music and Sound is gearing up for its biggest presence ever at the 2024 NAMM show.

American Music and Sound represents many brands in the industry, including Allen & Heath, Nord, BASSBOSS, Focusrite, and more. These brands will showcase their latest products at two American Music and Sound booths: one in the Main hall, focused on musical instruments and DJ products; and one in the Pro Audio hall, focused on professional mixing consoles and pro audio gear.

The booth in the Pro Audio hall has been extended this year to also include products from Ashly Audio, CAD, and Lake People. In addition to learning about special promotions tied to the company’s 50th anniversary in 2024, visitors to the Ashly Audio display will be able to demo the new AquaControl software. CAD Audio will present its range of microphones, headphones, wireless systems, and more. Lake People, a German manufacturer of high-end audio equipment, will display its range of headphone amplifiers, converters, and preamps.

The booth in the main hall will feature performances from brand-endorsed DJs and live musicians, which will be mixed through Allen & Heath’s new CQ series digital mixers.

New for 2024, a dedicated American Music & Sound ‘MIX&LISTEN ZONE’ will allow for interactive demos of a wide range of interfaces, guitars, keyboards, mixers, headphones and loudspeakers from a wide spectrum of American Music & Sound and Exertis | JAM distributed brands.

American Music and Sound will also have a speaker demo room, showing off BASSBOSS and Ocean Way Audio AeroWave speakers with live demos. Attendees can hear AeroWave on show days at 11am, 1pm, and 4pm. BASSBOSS demos, featuring new MK3 technology, will take place daily at noon, 3pm, and 5pm.

Allen & Heath Live Sound and Touring Manager Michael Bangs will lead live sound training and certification classes. The classes will cover topics such as mixing techniques, workflow optimisation, system integration, and network management. The classes will use Allen & Heath’s dLive series consoles, and those interested can register via the NAMM Show+ mobile app.

“‘Sound’ is not only in our name, but it is in our company DNA,” said Allen & Heath USA / American Music and Sound Marketing Director, Jeff Hawley. “NAMM 2024 will offer new ways to create sounds, mix sounds, and listen to sounds connected to the award-winning roster of brands that we proudly represent. Whether you are a sound company, an MI dealer, an aspiring sound engineer looking at the new Allen & Heath CQ Series mixers, a top-tier touring engineer looking to improve your mixing chops, a performing musician, a producer or a DJ, the various AM&S booths and demo and training rooms will offer up something fun and certainly are worth your time to check out. Can’t wait to see you there!”
