AC-ET Showcases Fx4 HD-SDI at PLASA Focus 2017

A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) have announced the new addition to Datapath’s Fx4 HD creative video wall splitter range – the Fx4-SDI – to be showcased on their stand at PLASA Focus Glasgow 2017 on 18th-19th January.

With the increasing popularity of multi-display video configurations demanding greater freedom in creating and deploying scalable video mapping products, Datapath’s Fx4 range of 4K resolution wall splitters/controllers provides four HD outputs from one box, increasing the display possibilities.

The new Fx4-SDI connection model joins existing DisplayPort and HDMI versions to offer users support for all popular professional HD video data cable connections.

The Fx4-SDI model is aimed at users with existing HD-SDI transmission infrastructures, eliminating the need for additional converters at either end of the system. The SDI model also has robust, lockable BNC connectors that are ideal for professional environments, and the data transfer protocol is suitable for projects involving running cables over vast distances.

AC-ET’s Video Sales Manager, Stuart Burdett, commented: “The latest addition to the Fx4 range is ideal for our rental, TV and film customers with existing HD-SDI transmission systems. With end clients’ increasing demands for more video screens, whether it be for installations or live events, the Fx4 really does allow users to get creative with their multiple output configurations.

The Fx4-SDI demo will be at stand B1 at PLASA Focus Glasgow 2017.
