KB Event and H2 Equity Partners have completed the purchase of Crossland, reshaping its ownership and leadership as of 30 October 2026. Founded in 2006 by Malachy McMullan, the Irish-based company is a specialist in bussing and trucking services for high-profile live-event clients.
Through investment and industry expertise, Crossland has established a strong reputation in live-event European transport. With a modern fleet of buses and trucks and a combined 80 years of experience across transport, touring and logistics, the company has built an impressive list of trusted clientele across the live-events sector.
KB Event will continue to focus on its core offering of live music touring, supporting concerts, world tours, festivals, as well as exhibitions and corporate events. The acquisition of Crossland expands our services of trucking, managed logistics, storage, project management and customs to now include bussing.
Expanding into bussing will strengthen KB Event’s existing service offering, allowing their clients to coordinate the transport of both production equipment and crew through one supplier. By bringing trucking and bussing together under one roof, KB Event can deliver a more streamlined experience for clients managing complex productions across the UK and Europe.
While the acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for the business, Crossland founders, Malachy and Caroline along with their dedicated staf, will continue to manage the new bussing division within KB Event. They will continue to build on the strong relationships they’ve established over the years, bringing their wealth of logistics experience to the business. Day-to-day operations will continue as normal to ensure a smooth transition for both clients and staf as the business builds on its existing success under its new ownership.
As part of KB Event’s MBO in April 2026, supported by H2 Equity Partners joined KB Event as a major co-investor, bringing significant financial backing and operational expertise to support the company’s continued growth and long-term ambitions.
Richard Burnett commented: “Today is an exciting day for KB Event as we expand our service oferings to the market. The purchase of Crossland is a major investment and we are excited to see the ambitions for KB Event begin to take shape. We would all like to thank Malachy and Caroline for their dedication and passion in creating the business that Crossland is today. We will continue to put our focus on service to our clients, and the addition of bussing is another important step towards in our ambition of becoming the logistics partner of choice for the live entertainment industry. We look forward to building on this new venture and continuing to expand the services we offer in meeting the evolving needs of our clients.”
