Clair Global is expanding its presence in Nashville, TN with a new, modern facility centered around client services. Designed to enhance efficiency, the purpose-built space was realized by architect Tyler Kicera, who also designed the new Clair Global building in Lititz. PA, ensuring details were mirrored where possible.
Sound Image will also have a significant occupancy in the new building. Both companies have long-standing relationships within the country music and entertainment markets in Nashville and will maintain separate branding for clients while operating as one team for maximum efficiency.
The Rock Nashville premises are situated 10 miles from downtown Nashville and is the region’s first live production campus for touring vendors and rehearsal studios, ensuring crews, suppliers and artists will experience world-leading services and amenities.
Within this, the Clair Global building has been devised over two levels; the upper floor houses back-office workers while downstairs the shop floor has a flying grid, cutting edge prep rooms, and large loading bays and doc access for production trucking.
The new building’s proximity to campus neighbors SoundCheck, a 15-room rehearsal space fitted with Cohesion sound systems, offers clients further practical options. Within Soundcheck, Diablo Digital – Clair’s multi-track digital recording services brand founded by award-winning live sound engineers with profound technical expertise – is building an immersive mixing space designed to support remote broadcast workflows and enable recording from anywhere within the building.
Scott Appleton, VP Rock Nashville commented: “When Rock Lititz wanted to expand its campuses, Nashville became the obvious next destination for a new industry hub. Both Clair Global and Sound Image already had well-established locations in Nashville, and post-acquisition, this presented an opportunity to develop a larger shared space that could be built to suit customers. Being in the immediate vicinity of SoundCheck makes this an even more encouraging move.”
Appleton continued: “Clair now offers an ultra-modern, turnkey solution for tour and event prep and can deliver any product within the Clair Global umbrella out of the Nashville shop. Alongside audio, both brands supply comms, radios, data services and backline, making production prep a seamless task from one central place. This is a very exciting time for the live industry.”
