At Integrated Systems Europe 2026, 3-6 February in Barcelona, Adam Hall Integrated Systems will be showcasing a wide range of new solutions and products from the areas of commercial audio, lighting and control. The next major update of the LD Systems QUESTRA design and management platform to version 1.4 will take centre stage. In addition, AV system integrators, specialist planners and installation technology service providers can look forward to audio and video extensions to the TICA and TIVA series as well as a new DSP audio matrix that has been specially developed for installation projects and is fully integrated into the QUESTRA software.
With the update to QUESTRA 1.4, LD Systems is on track to making the software platform a one-stop solution for specialist planners and installation service providers. In the area of native hardware integration, QUESTRA 1.4 expands the range of supported, network-compatible devices and enables the centralised integration of audio, video and control components, including the new NMP 8/32 DSP audio matrices, the AMP 205 D Dante mini amplifier, video solutions such as the new MXAV 44 HDMI matrix and the SWAV 41 HDMI switcher as well as the new QTP10 10” touch display.
QUESTRA 1.4 also introduces the concept of virtual devices, which allows third-party devices to be integrated into the system via customised logic functions and user interfaces, including the option of transferring them to the internal library as virtual devices. With the additional support of the OSC protocol – also available for the X-EDAI/X-ECI Ethernet cards in the IPA power amplifier series via a firmware update – QUESTRA 1.4 extends the control of a variety of external systems and applications and enables the control of central parameters such as level, mute or more. In addition, numerous optimisations in the UI/UX design ensure a smoother workflow. The v1.4 update is available free of charge for all QUESTRA users.
Under the slogan #JoinTheQuestraNetwork, the Adam Hall Integrated Systems team invites all those interested in QUESTRA to become part of the growing global QUESTRA community and become certified as QUESTRA partners. Visitors to the LD Systems stand will get a first hands-on impression of the software’s comprehensive design and control options. On several freely accessible touch panels – including the new LD Systems QTP10 with 10-inch touchscreen – visitors to the stand can control audio and building technology components and discover the possibilities of the QUESTRA user panels. There will also be QTP panels at the Cameo stand (Hall 6, 6M300) so visitors can experience the possibilities of integrated lighting control in QUESTRA.
Furthermore, the first QUESTRA Level 2 certifications will take place in the Adam Hall showroom in Barcelona during the trade fair, allowing users to immerse themselves even more intensively in planning and control with the design and management platform. The one-day Level 2 training course includes the creation and management of complex control scenes, automation using logic functions and the integration of third-party hardware.
With the NMP series, LD Systems is expanding the TICA series with new DSP audio matrices for installation projects. While the NMP8 is an 8 by 8 DSP matrix with four analogue inputs and outputs and 4 by 4 AES67 channels, the NMP32 offers four analogue inputs and outputs and 28 by 28 AES67 channels. Both models provide extensive DSP functions, including flexible signal processing using EQ, delay and dynamics processors as well as automixing functions. Other functions such as automatic echo and noise cancelling, are gradually being added via software updates. Both versions are fully integrated into QUESTRA and can be configured, controlled and monitored centrally via the software in the network.
The TIVA Series (Tools for Integrating Video and Audio) is a family of AV interfaces designed to work hand in hand with the QUESTRA platform. Following the SWAV 41 HDMI switch and the SGP 42 Ethernet interface, LD Systems is expanding the TIVA series with the MXAV 44 and SPAV 14 models. The MXAV 44 is a 4 by 4 HDMI matrix for flexible distribution of multiple sources to different displays with integrated audio de-embedding, support for HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2/1.4 and resolutions up to 4K60 (4:4:4) and EDID management. The SPAV 14 complements the series as a 1 by 4 HDMI splitter with audio extractor for high-resolution AV setups and supports HDMI 2.1 with up to 48 Gbit/s, video resolutions up to 8K60 or 4K120, current HDR formats including Dolby Vision and HDR-to-SDR conversion for mixed display environments. Both TIVA modules enable separate audio output for the connection of external audio systems and are designed for compact, installation-friendly AV integration projects.
