The Showstop Procedure, devised by Mark Hamilton FdA MA (Dist.) HonD Univ and Steve Allen FdA MIFireE FIIRSM RSP in 2025, has received accreditation by Highfield.
A Highfield spokesperson stated: “Following a comprehensive evaluation of the course content and assessment methods, Highfield Qualifications is pleased to confirm that the Showstop Procedure course delivered by Imagine Corporation has achieved full accredited status. This endorsement reflects our rigorous quality assurance processes and affirms that the course meets the high standards expected of a leading UK awarding organisation. The course is now formally recognised under our accreditation framework and carries the Highfield seal of approval.”
This Showstop Procedure is also accredited through the CPD Certification service, so attendees receive eight hours CPD, approved by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and is supported by the Pink Bows Foundation. The UK Crowd Management Association (UKCMA), Event Safety Alliance Canada and Event Safety Alliance USA are all collaborating with Steve and Mark to establish a globally accepted protocol.
Since launching in March 2025, over 320 event professionals’ intent on making events safer across the UK, USA and Australia have attended the training.
“We are proud to have received this accreditation from Highfield, which further underpins our aim to create an internationally recognised, standardised protocol,” Allen said. “The consistent feedback we’ve received from venue managers, operation teams, promotors, police, event and security professionals who have attended the courses informs and motivates us to help create safer events by establishing a competent global pool of Showstop Managers.”
In the coming months, more Showstop Procedure courses are scheduled in the UK, Canada, USA, and the Middle East. The next UK course will be held on 17 September 2025, with limited spaces still available.
