An energetic, capacity crowd rocked out in front of the Serious Stages’ Stellar stage for the Deftones Crystal Palace Park concert, June 26th, 2025. Festival Republic’s production team, led by production manager Alice James, delivered a great sound and visually strong show, for the 15,000 fans on the venue’s Italian Terrace, who enjoyed a strong supporting undercard featuring Qendresa, Health, Hi Viz, Weezer.
A day of performances emanated from the 20m Stellar concert stage, flanked by video-screen goalposts to create a 35m frontage. Serious also installed four speaker towers relaying sound to the whole crowd on the long, narrow site, along with two x three-storey front-of-house towers for lighting and audio engineers and a raised assisted viewing platform.
The stage was designed and manufactured by Serious Stages’ in the UK, by project manager Andrew Ridler, who was on site to supervise the build. Operations Manager Abbey Thomas said: “It was great to be back in Crystal Palace with Festival Republic for this concert. It was a testament to everyone, from our office staff to site crews, who all worked tirelessly to deliver stages amidst our busiest period. This Stellar stage is proving to be an ideal mid-sized configuration for concerts or festivals.”
That same weekend Serious provided the stages for Glastonbury Festival, Finsbury Park Concerts and were building the TZ Tower roof used for the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix concerts and Wireless Festival.
