At the start of 2025, the daily management of Stageco Staging Group was taken over by its local and international executive team, supported by Hedwig De Meyer and Katleen De Meyer from the Board of Directors. While this arrangement has continued to serve the business well, after extensive consultations with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, the decision has been made to appoint a new leader to guide the company into its next chapter. Consequently, Stageco has appointed Wouter Van Mierloo as Chief Executive Officer of Stageco Belgium and the Stageco Group, effective immediately.
Van Mierloo, who has served as Stageco’s Chief Operating Officer for the past two years, brings a proven track record in general, financial, and technical management. Speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, founder De Meyer expressed full support for the appointment:
“Over the past two years, Wouter has proven that he tackles matters with the necessary steadfastness, while bringing peace and structure, even in the chaotic circumstances in which we often operate. Under his stewardship, the Group will continue to strengthen its leading position as a worldwide reference in staging and structural solutions for the live entertainment industry.”
