rELATIONship 2023

Elation Professional recently held an event for its European distributor network, rELATIONship 2023.

Held 16-18 October in the surroundings of the Abbey Hotel Rolduc on the outskirts of Kerkrade, the Netherlands, hometown of Elation’s European headquarters. With over 60 representatives from Elation’s European partner network in attendance, the gathering was all about strengthening personal bonds and celebrating the ties.

“rELATIONship was a blast and a huge success!” exclaimed Marc Librecht, Sales & Marketing Director at Elation Europe. “For us, the most important part of doing business is the relationships we have the opportunity to build and the memories we create with some wonderful people so to get us all together in the same room and let our hair down a bit was just fantastic. We’ve added quite a few new members to the Elation family of late and as we continue to grow, we know that it’s these strong personal bonds that set us apart and make the Elation family a truly remarkable one.”

Moderated by Elation International Sales Manager Frederik Afif, the event had open and honest conversations as the centrepiece of the day. Topics were diverse from sales and marketing strategies and best practices to training, service, successes, challenges and more.

Elation partners had the opportunity to engage with product specialists about product innovation and development, and a number of industry professionals shared their knowledge and experience in special presentations, including an address by Alexander Ostermaier of event industry association forward.live, and a  talk by Uli Petzold, Senior Managing Director at Elation’s German partner LMP Lichttechnik.

Ostermaier commented: “The feelings at this distributor meeting were real and everyone was interested in what rELATIONship really looks like and what it means. I’ve been to many of these kinds of events before and have to congratulate Elation on how much warmer you made this meeting. The chemistry between Elation and its distributors was remarkable from the start.”

rELATIONship 2023 concluded with a gala dinner and awards presentation in which distributors were recognised for their dedication and outstanding achievements throughout the last year. “It was a perfect way to put the spotlight on our partners and their achievements, and a way for us to say thank you for all they do,” expressed Marc Librecht. “rELATIONship was all about building genuine connections while motivating us to move forward together as the Elation family and I really think it succeeded.”
