If you have anything to do with the live production industry, chances are you’ve at least seen a few images of the multi-coloured madness that was the Pet Shop Boys’ four-night residency at London’s Royal Opera House. The visual aspect alone was overwhelming – complete with light-up balloons, inflatable fat suits and enough laser firepower to raise an eyebrow or two on the bridge of the Death Star.
