New Destination for SKYMAGIC

SKYMAGIC have announced their launch #SUMMERSTORIES where they will be delievering bespoke drone shows in a series of new destinations across the world.

Their summer season started late June, where they took to the skies over the capital of Azerbaijan – delivering the country’s very first drone show.

With 250 of their performance drones launched high into the night sky of Baku – delivering a mesmerising show for Azerbaijani telecommunications leader Azercell.

Their bespoke drone show told the story of a country rich in heritage that is moving into a new digital age – led by Azercell. Designed by their creative team, the synchronised swarm of performance drones rose high above the stunning Heydar Aliyev Centre noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style. In concert with the building and set to a striking soundtrack, their performance drones executed an elegant and compelling suite of motifs captivating and delighting the audience beneath them in a fitting finale to the evening’s celebrations, made possible with the support of Azerbaijan’s Civil Aviation Authority.

The event was historical for Azercell – marking a new beginning for the telecoms leader and the first performance drone show ever in Azerbaijan. Mixing old with new, through traditional Azerbaijani music and collaborating with SKYMAGIC’s dynamic performance drones – proudly telling the story of Azercell.
