Martin Audio has announced its 2026 September Open Days, which will take place between 22 and 25 September. Attendees will be able to experience the full Martin Audio portfolio – alongside its sister brands, TiMax, Optimal Audio and Linea Research –in real life applications, brought to life by projection mapping and immersive sound to showcase how the collection of brands solves challenges that sound professionals experience.
Following 10 years of opening up its headquarters to welcome industry professionals, 2026’s September Open Days look slightly different than usual, with the introduction of a paid-for ticket, with all funds raised going to Backup Tech. The initiative aims to further support the charity’s crucial role in providing different support networks for the industry from financial support to wellbeing aids and mental health training.
For Focusrite Group’s James King, supporting Backup Tech is an important thing for the company to do: “We love the work that Backup Tech does across the industry; it is an incredibly powerful charity which does invaluable work for everyone in the industry whenever they may need it, and we’re proud to support them,” King said.
The support doesn’t stop at the Open Day ticket price, as the company has committed to matching the donation of every single ticket. “This sets the donation per person at £10, and we hope to continue supporting Backup Tech further down the line,” King elaborated. “We have set a fundraising target at a minimum of £4,000, and we hope to smash that out of the park.”
King sees the Open Days as much as a networking event as an opportunity for the Martin Audio team to showcase its products to the industry – which is why he believes that this decade anniversary of its Open Days is the perfect time to platform Backup Tech. “We were at this year’s village fete, which as a fundraising event is also a great opportunity to foster community within the industry, and we want our Open Days to be similar to that, to have that community feel,” King added. “By doing so, we’ve carved out some time on the days to allow Backup to share its message across all of our attendees.”
Doors will open at 9.30am across all days, with demonstrations across its brands and disciplines, from hospitality to festivals to time for networking. You can buy a ticket for £5, here.
