It’s safe to say that immersive opera is not exactly the entertainment du jour for the twenty somethings of south Wales, but that didn’t stop an intrepid group of talented (and mostly student) crewmembers from staging a successful warehouse interpretation of Strauss’ Die Fledermaus in March this year. Despite his tender years, LD and Production Manager, Charlie Lapage-Norris, had already racked up an enviable CV through work with rental house Hawthorn and an array of freelance gigs. This experience led Director Hannah Noone of Opera’r Ddraig to contact him about taking on the dual role.
