Concept Audio Distributes Powersoft in Malaysia

Powersoft has announced that Concept Audio will be its new distributor in Malaysia, further underlining the company’s commitment to discovering the untapped potential of new markets in the APAC territories.

Concept Audio, which was established in 2002, is an AV equipment distributor in the region, providing gear, system designs, project implementation and system integration for venues that require staging, lighting, sound systems and PA conference systems. The company already has distribution deals in place with some of pro audio’s biggest names, including Shure, Nexo, Quest Engineering, JBL, and industry manufacturers, Coolux and Clearcom.

Castrit Lim, Sales Director of Concept Audio, commented: “Powersoft products can deliver more than enough power to any sized sound system, and their reliability is complemented by excellent component quality, compact size, and intuitive functions. We discovered that Powersoft amps would also be the most flexible option for our customers – given the audio products we distribute already – and the value for money is second to none.”

The main ambitions for Concept Audio’s new Powersoft inventory are, for now, centred around universities and government departments, but the company confirmed that they expect a good response from integrators, rental companies and end users alike.

Lim continued: “We believe that the install market is the main growth area for our country at this moment. The majority of spending power here falls under middle and entry market levels, so most clients are looking for the best possible products on an affordable budget. Education in this stage is very important, and we intend to conduct more product introduction events and training seminars in order to promote brand awareness. Powersoft has a proven track in helping distributors to educate the markets with their leading sonic technologies, and we are confident that these sessions will be beneficial for the customers and the brands themselves, eventually leading to many more Powersoft-driven installations and projects in the region.”
