Backup Tech, the technical industries charity, is looking for a Pastoral Care and Grants Support Officer. The role attracts a salary of £34,000 full-time equivalent, pro rata. Based on 2 days per week, the gross annual salary will be £13,600.
Working location is flexible and successful applicants could choose from remote, hybrid or flexible working patterns. The purpose of the role is to provide sensitive, organised and practical support across Backup Tech’s grant application, triage and beneficiary care process.
Acting as an initial point of contact for grant applicants, the post-holder would help to acknowledge applications, gather information, complete initial checks, support case preparation, maintain accurate records and ensure applicants are signposted to appropriate support where required.
This is a people-focused role that combines pastoral care and empathy with strong administration skills, professional judgement and clear boundaries.
