Robe’s new GigaPointe moving lights made their Slovenian debut with indie rockers Joker Out, who celebrated their 10th birthday with Karneval – a circus-themed extravaganza, including special guests – staged at the outdoor Kardeljeva ploščad venue at the university in Ljubljana. Elden is the largest historical outdoor theatre production in Norway, and it has been staged every summer since 1994. Its setting is unusual by any measure. The performance takes place on the slag heaps above Røros, the old copper-mining town in central Norway inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, with the industrial landscape itself forming the set.
