Two years ago, Hans Willems joined Stageco Belgium as CEO. At the same time, he also remained CEO at WICREATIONS, dividing his time between both companies.
At Stageco, Willems guided the company through a highly challenging period, overseeing a generational transition and establishing a new management committee. However, it also became clear that the Stageco Group is a house with many rooms, both local and international, each of which demands and deserves significant time and attention.
After careful deliberation, and to give both companies the best opportunities for the future, it was decided, in consultation with Willems, to transfer his responsibilities at Stageco to the management committee. This enables Willems to fully focus on the further growth of WICREATIONS.
Effective today, the Belgian Management Committee will take over the daily management of Stageco Belgium as a team. This team currently consists of: COO: Wouter Van Mierloo, CFO: Bart Laenen, Projects Director: Dirk De Decker, HR Director: Katleen De Meyer and Inventory Management: Peter Schillebeeckx.
On a Group level, the Executive Committee will continue to oversee the international collaboration. This team is chaired by Hedwig De Meyer and currently consists of the above plus all international branch directors:The Netherlands: Dennis De Graaf, Stageco USA: Micah Catterson and Stageco Germany & Austria: Dirk Lauenstein
Willems will remain a member of the Board of Directors of the Stageco Group and will continue to contribute to the long-term strategy in this role. At the same time, Katleen De Meyer will join the Board of Directors. Katleen and Hedwig De Meyer, as executive members, will participate in the management meetings.
