JRI Group has launched RIG88, a brand-new rigging equipment supply and rental specialist. Founded as a sister company to Just Rigging & Inspections, the brand gives the JRI Group the capability to provide comprehensive rigging resources for its clients.
RIG88 offers the sale or dry hire of an extensive range of hoists, loose rigging and truss equipment. From kitting out new event spaces or upgrading a venue’s equipment, to plugging temporary stock gaps, or supplying one-off performances, the company’s inventory is designed to meet the needs of customers in a dynamic and constantly developing market.
The JRI Group workforce has a wealth of knowledge gained through its combined experience of more than five decades in the rigging industry, allowing RIG88 to create a tailored, integrated and consistent service that gives customers greater value.

In conjunction with its launch, RIG88 has announced that it is an authorised key sales and rental partner for SIXTY82 in the UK. Just Rigging’s lifting gear engineers have long been impressed with SIXTY82’s innovative trussing design and strength, and its company’s industry heritage, making them a natural partner for RIG88.
The first fruit of the partnership has already been realised in the supply of TPM390S truss to Blackpool Winter Gardens for the creation of a custom-designed mother grid.
