The NAMM Show 2026 is nearly upon us. From 20 to 24 January 2026, NAMM will be taking over the Anaheim Convention Center to celebrate everything that makes the entertainment technology industry great. Despite the expansion and development of the show, some still see The NAMM Show as primarily covering musical instruments, and while the MI portion takes up a significant amount of floor space, NAMM President and CEO John Mlynczak insisted that The NAMM Show 2026 will be an essential experience for industry pros.
“The NAMM Show 2026 will be a global gathering that brings together the best of the live music industry,” he explained. “Whether that is outstanding live performances, groundbreaking technical demonstrations or an education programme that helps to expand possibilities, TPi readers will have the opportunity to experience the very best of what makes the pro audio market special.”
The pro audio segment of The NAMM Show has been growing in recent years. For the 2025 event, the organiser managed to fill every possible demo space around ACC North, the traditional home of pro audio. For The NAMM Show 2026, it has gone even bigger and announced a record number of demo spaces. This will give engineers the perfect opportunity to hear, understand and get hands on with the latest technology from a variety of manufacturers.
“On top of this, we also have the most pro audio exhibitors since pre-pandemic times,” revealed Mlynczak. “There is a fantastic mix of key manufacturers that use The NAMM Show as the perfect place to meet the international live sound community, distributors working within the domestic market and start ups looking to share their breakthrough technology. As always, I would encourage everyone to use the three days of exhibits to really explore the technology offering in ACC North and get a full understanding of how the exciting new tools can help you create the best audience experience.”
Beyond the show floor, NAMM is also highlighting its biggest ever education programme. Across five show days, there will be opportunities to learn more about the latest trends and get certified in core technologies such as Dante with hands-on training. Building on itsexperience from 2025, the organiser has also created opportunities for engineers to get in-depth training ahead of the show floor opening with events like a full day Entertainment Technology Summit. According to Mlynczak, the collection of full and half-day summits will allow visitors to “go in depth to gain real understanding in different areas of the business”.
Of course, The NAMM Show isn’t just about the daytime. After hours, Anaheim really lights up with amazing concerts, awards shows to recognise the best in the industry and gatherings like the incredible Pro Audio Pool Party. “With this event marking our 125th anniversary, the evenings in Anaheim are certain to add a real sparkle to the show,” concluded Mlynczak. “The NAMM Show 2026 is going to be special. So register now and join the rest of the industry in Southern California to get 2026 off to the best possible start.”
