SGPS/ShowRig has promoted Benjamin Lampman to the post of Vice President of Touring. Lampman, who previously served as the General Manager and Sales Lead for the company’s Las Vegas operations, will now oversee the strategic direction and execution of the company’s premier touring division.
This leadership elevation follows a milestone period for the company, including the December 2025 acquisition of Niscon Inc. and the January 2026 appointment of Joseph Jeremy as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Jeremy, the co-founder of Niscon Inc., leads the company’s long-term technological vision from Burlington, Ontario, where Niscon continues to operate as a division of SGPS/ShowRig. By bringing Niscon’s acclaimed Raynok motion control software in-house, SGPS/ShowRig has created a unified powerhouse in entertainment rigging and motion control.
In his new role, Lampman will work closely with SGPS/ShowRig’s automation and engineering teams to integrate Raynok motion control systems into large-scale touring productions and will leverage these expanded technical capabilities to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions for the world’s largest concert tours and live events.
“Touring productions today demand engineering precision, reliability, and systems that can perform night after night in challenging environments,” said Lampman. “By integrating SGPS/ShowRig’s engineering, technical design, fabrication, rigging, and automation capabilities, we’re able to support designers and production teams with solutions that are built to travel, built to perform, and built to scale for the largest live events in the world.”
“Ben’s promotion is a key component of our long-term growth strategy,” said Ned Collett, President of SGPS/ShowRig. “His track record of managing complex, large-scale projects, from Broadway to global stadium tours, along with his experience delivering highly customized fabrication solutions, makes him the ideal leader to head our touring division as we continue to expand our capabilities in automation, rigging, and fabrication.”
Lampman brings over 25 years of experience in the scenic and entertainment industries to the Vice President role. Since joining SGPS/ShowRig in 2019, he has held pivotal roles including Project Manager and Las Vegas General Manager, overseeing major touring and installation projects for artists and venues across the industry. His work at SGPS includes projects for blink-182, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and the automation installation at LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
His broader portfolio includes major global tours such as Queen + Adam Lambert, as well as high-profile Broadway productions including Moulin Rouge, Disney’s Frozen, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and The Book of Mormon. His background also spans large-scale televised events, including four NBC Live! productions and the 2011 Pan American Games.
Prior to his tenure at SGPS/ShowRig, Lampman held senior leadership positions at Production Resource Group (PRG), where he served as Director of Projects, overseeing daily operations for the project management department. He also served as Technical Director at the prestigious Long Wharf Theatre and Manhattan Theatre Club and has contributed his expertise to projects for The Public Theater, Hudson Scenic Studios, and Global Scenic Services. Lampman holds a BFA in Theater from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He will remain based at the SGPS/ShowRig Las Vegas hub while overseeing touring operations across the company’s seven US locations.
