Global Truss has released a new, comprehensive Vectorworks library containing all of the manufacturer’s current truss systems. The library includes around 630 high-quality symbols, making it the most extensive truss library currently available for the German version of Vectorworks Spotlight. The release was realised in close cooperation with partners RocketLab with Christian Glatthor as well as ComputerWorks.
The Global Truss Library will be accessible to users in two ways:
It will be available both for download at www.globaltruss.de and directly within Vectorworks, allowing it to be integrated immediately into existing planning workflows.
The library is characterised by high data quality and provides planners, technical drafters, and users in the event and exhibition industry with a precise and practical foundation for their daily work in Vectorworks.
The release comes in a special year for Global Truss: 2026 marks the company’s 25th anniversary. With this step, Global Truss underlines its ambition to set innovative standards not only in its product range but also in digital planning.
The current release represents the first part of the new Vectorworks library and includes the complete truss systems. Further partial releases will follow throughout 2026, including, among others, all couplers as well as stage platforms, which will be gradually integrated into the library.
“Global Truss has invested a great deal of time and resources to realise this project. Over the past 1.5 years, the groundwork has been laid to integrate all Global Truss products into Vectorworks. Global Truss would also like to expressly thank RocketLab and ComputerWorks for their smooth cooperation. Chris and his team have created tremendous added value for Vectorworks users with this implementation,” said Oliver Braun, Head of Global Marketing at Global Truss.
With the new Vectorworks library, Global Truss is strengthening the digital planning landscape in the long term and providing users with a powerful tool for efficient, realistic, and future-proof project planning.
