At NAMM 2026, DAS Audio made its presence felt where sound matters most: live, loud, and experienced firsthand. Throughout the show, the DAS Audio Arena Plaza Stage served as a hub for live band performances, powered by the company’s EVENT Series and led by the debut of the EVENT-30A line array system, as the family-owned company celebrates 55 years of designing and manufacturing professional sound systems from its headquarters in Valencia, Spain.
Running all day during the show, the DAS Audio Arena Plaza Stage invited attendees to step outside the booth and into the experience. Live performances showcased the clarity, output, and control of the EVENT-30A and EVENT-S218A in a real-world environment, giving engineers, artists, and production professionals the opportunity to hear and feel the system in action.
“There’s no substitute for hearing a system in a live environment,” said Michael Rodriguez, Director of Operations and Marketing for DAS Audio. “The stage gave people their first real-world experience with the award winning EVENT Series and the rebirth of that line.”
At NAMM 2026, DAS Audio officially unveiled three new additions to the EVENT Series, marking the next evolution of the platform:
EVENT-30A: A next-generation line array element built on a new smart DSP platform designed to evolve over time. Featuring onboard Wi-Fi for wireless firmware updates and Smart Self-Tuning™, the EVENT-30A automatically identifies each cabinet’s position within an array using IR technology and applies the correct processing. Designed and manufactured in-house, it delivers up to 142 dB of maximum SPL from a compact, lightweight enclosure, providing exceptional headroom and performance in larger arrays
EVENT-S218A: A powerful dual 18-inch powered subwoofer developed alongside the new EVENT systems. With cardioid presets for two- and three-sub configurations, integrated threaded pole adapters for vertical or horizontal deployment, and future-ready DSP, the S218A delivers controlled, efficient low-frequency performance for demanding live and outdoor environments.
EVENT-M12A: A powered 12-inch coaxial monitor designed for stage monitoring, fills, and point-source applications. Its compact form, controlled coverage, and front-mounted connectors keep cabling out of sight for a cleaner stage aesthetic. Voiced to integrate seamlessly with EVENT systems, the M12A completes the EVENT ecosystem with flexibility and precision.
DAS Audio’s presence at NAMM was further underscored by industry recognition, as two EVENT Series products received Best of Show Awards:
EVENT-30A received a Best of Show Award presented by Sound & Video Contractor, recognised for its innovation, feature set, and value in serving the professional audio industry. EVENT-M12A received a Best of Show Award presented by Mix, highlighting its thoughtful engineering, versatility, and performance in real-world applications.
The Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of editors and industry experts and honour standout products introduced at NAMM. Winners are featured across editorial coverage, online platforms, and promotional materials throughout the year.
