After exhibiting at PLASA London 2018, the Current RMS team are working to develop new updates to their rental management software based on the important feedback of their users. The show was a great success for the team, who were offering visitors live demos of Current RMS on their brand new stand, J50, built especially for the occasion by Red Peak Design.
Surrounded by stands of the latest technology, the show was the perfect backdrop to demonstrate just how their rental management software can benefit those in the Pro-AV, Lighting & Staging industry. Cloud-based, users can log into their rental business from any device, anywhere, even if they’re out on a job, with all the information they need right at their fingertips. From updating booking details to viewing accurate kit availability, allocating resources like crew and transport, and the ability to draw up quotations in an instant, the team demonstrated how the software can manage the entire rental cycle with ease.
Visitors to the stand were also given a sneak peek at Current RMS’s upcoming Automatic Costing and Purchasing modules, due to be released very soon. These new modules will automatically pull through additional costs onto a job, including sub rents, freelance costs and any purchases. Users will also be able to create purchase orders to send from Current, and post these across to accounting software Xero and Quickbooks Online.
These new modules are highly anticipated and updates the team can’t wait to release. The annual trade show is always a great chance to check in with customers and new faces alike and the team are already looking forward to next year’s show. With rental companies in thousands of cities around the globe now using Current RMS to manage their rental business, the team have introduced over 16 new features to the software in the last year alone.
