At earlier trade shows over the past year, CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys built their stand around the theme “True Colours Revealed.” They liked the concept so much, particularly since it pays tribute to the advanced colour rendering options of its lighting fixtures, that they decided to go with it again for PLASA London 2025.
Anyone who visits its shared booth (D10) 7-9 September, will be greeted by an array of offerings that are spectacularly new and different.
At the top of this list is the world trade show debut of the Maverick Force X Profile. The latest step in CHAUVET Professional’s ongoing quest to reimagine moving fixtures, the 520-watt profile is already turning heads on the global touring circuit. Delivering an output (19,640 lumens) for a fixture of its size (361 x 239 x 646 mm), the Maverick Force X Profile gives designers freedom to position units in tight spaces, while also making it simpler, faster and less physically demanding to set up and take down rig.
Joining the Force X Profile at the stand from CHAUVET Professional will be the Maverick Storm 1 Flex, the STRIKE Saber 10, the updated WELL family of fixtures, the COLORado Solo Bar, which is opening new frontiers in deck lighting design, and The STRIKE V, the dynamic tilting strobe-wash with dual layered pixel effects.
Also new at the booth will be hands-on demonstrations of ChamSys solutions, involving the MagicQ MQ500M+ and MQ250M Stadium Consoles. This will provide visitors with opportunities to see how control solutions from GeNetix, MagicQ, and QuickQ can be deployed in venues of all sizes.
Among these new solutions is the GeNetix Node 4 IP, a compact IP65-rated 4-port Ethernet-to-DMX Node that comes with multiple rigging options for easily mounting in rigs. This product features one Network Port and four DMX Outputs that can be used as either DMX In or Out Port Status LEDs — and it can be configured remotely over network via its inbuilt Webserver, Art-Net or a ChamSys Console.
2025’s PLASA booth features a new design by LD David Howard that will facilitate communications between its staff of product specialists and visitors. ChamSys training will also have a new look at this year’s PLASA, as it has been moved from a remote location to renovated training spaces upstairs from the show floor where visitors can learn without noise or distractions. The sessions will cover a range of topics from “Introduction to MagicQ,” to “Mastering Group Qs,” as well as Guest LD sessions with David Howard and Joe Beardsmore.
