Marshmello – Alone Ft. Travis Barker – Live at Coachella 2017 Sunday, April 16th
The xx approached Production Park company, LS-Live, for a stage set for their 2017/2018 worldwide tour. The main set featured a clear poly carbonate DJ console, poly carbonate decks with underside illumination and 8 rotating monolith towers. The xx also rented out the space in LS-Live Studio 001 for two weeks to allow them time for a full pre-production test-build and to give the band time to rehearse before they embarked on their ambitious tour schedule!
In this second video of a four video series, Area Four Industries Technical Director Dipl.-Ing. Norbert Tripp focuses on some background information about wind and the resulting loads on roof structures. Since this is a complex matter, Norbert touches on some basics, such as the relationship between wind speed and wind pressure, as well as the behaviour of canopies under wind loads. The often misunderstood self-weight of structures is also covered.
Hollywood Vampires perform Sweet Emotions for Aerosmith’s Joe Perry after receiving the Les Paul award. Perry received the evening’s highest honor, presented to remarkably distinguished and accomplished individuals from the music industry. Hollywood Vampires bandmate and actor Johnny Depp presented Perry with the award, then joined Perry, Brad Whitford and Alice Cooper on stage for a live performance.
