Production Futures will have a strong presence at this year’s ISE in Barcelona (Feb 2-6), where the organisation will once again take over the Live Events Stage in Hall 6B100 on Fast Forward Friday 6 Feb) with an expanded series of events and presentations, featuring industry professionals and newcomers. The Production Futures team will be available to meet newcomers at this location throughout the day.
The Friday programme will begin with a high-energy meet and greet where industry professionals and emerging talent will come together for the conversations that really matter. Mentors will share honest insights gained across years of experience, whilst newcomers present fresh ideas, curiosity, and ambition. Following this, a succession of four further panel discussions, featuring industry experts alongside winners of the Production Futures Breakthrough Talent Awards, will address the hot topics of the day relevant to newcomers in the production sector.
Five winners of the Production Futures Breakthrough Talent Awards will be present at the show thanks to bursaries provided by their Award sponsors and ISE, in a joint initiative to encourage access and opportunity.
As well as the five award winners, a further three students will be in attendance courtesy of AVIXA, the professional audio/visual trade association, as Production Futures Hannah Eakins explained: “AVIXA generously offered provision for three students to attend the show and we duly put out a call through our channels for applications. The response was amazing – we were significantly oversubscribed within a day, something which not only presented us with the tough task of selecting the successful applicants, but also pleasingly illustrated the level to which our rapidly growing online community is engaged with our digital platforms.
“Access and opportunity are the cornerstones of our mission, so it’s great to see that our practices, from our live events to our online community are working. We’re grateful to all of our industry partners for their fantastic support, and in particular to our awards sponsors and ISE for making , and look forward to another highly productive show,” Eakins said.
