Martin Professional, in collaboration with four-time Emmy Award-winning lighting designer Oscar Dominguez, is bringing two immersive lighting experiences to this 2025’s show.
Known for his work on NBC’s The Voice and The Wall, and ABC’s Shark Tank, Dominguez will bring his signature cinematic approach to Martin’s booth (#2611), transforming the space into a live, narrative-driven lighting experience that explores how technology and emotion converge through design. In addition, Dominguez will lend his creative eye to Martin’s Beyond Light (room W219), a dedicated demo room featuring product premieres, technical training and creative conversations, with an exclusive session with Dominguez himself.
Appointed as the official lighting designer for the Martin booth at LDI 2025, Dominguez will showcase the expressive capabilities of Martin’s newest technologies, including the MAC Aura Raven XIP and MAC Viper XIP, through a series of dynamic lighting looks inspired by storytelling and motion. The booth will feature more than 560 fixtures, including MAC Aura PXL, MAC Aura XIP, VDO Atomic series, MAC One, and VDO Sceptron 10 units. Together, these create a fully realised cinematic environment that positions Martin as both a technical innovator and a creative partner to the design community.
“LDI is a place where imagination meets innovation, and Martin has always lived at that intersection,” said Dominguez. “What we’re creating together is not just a lighting display, it’s a story told through light. It’s about emotion, rhythm, and connection.”
In the Beyond Light demo room, attendees will explore Martin’s latest innovations through product premieres, hands-on demonstrations, and technical training sessions led by Martin’s global product team. Dominguez will also lead one of the Beyond Light’s sessions, titled Creative Conversations, an exclusive, interactive session 8 December from noon–12:45 p.m. He will take the audience behind the scenes of his design process and demonstrate how artistry, technology, and intuition combine to create emotionally charged lighting experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A and creative discussion with Dominguez and Martin’s innovation team.
The Beyond Light program will also showcase two of Martin’s newest luminaires, including the exclusive global premiere of a new premium-quality, high-output MAC fixture and the recently introduced ELP MANET 8f LED Stage and Studio Fresnel. Dedicated demo sessions led by Martin’s Global Product Managers will provide in-depth insights and live demonstrations, covering these fixtures as well as dynamic architainment and Martin P3.
“LDI has always been a platform for discovery,” said Wouter Verlinden, Product Manager for Martin Professional Creative LED, Lighting & Control. “This year, we’re going beyond showcasing products, we’re demonstrating how light can tell stories, shape emotion, and redefine what’s possible in both entertainment and architectural design.”
LDI 2025 takes place 7–9 December at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. Attendees can explore the Martin booth experience at #2611 and join Beyond Light sessions in Room W219 throughout the show.
