TAIT has acquired Gallagher Staging and Productions, a custom set fabricator and staging provider with four locations across North America. This strategic acquisition will bring together two experts in live event staging, scenic, structures, and automation and build on a shared vision to craft live experiences.
Starting as a rock ’n’ roll company, TAIT has pushed the boundaries of concert production for the world’s biggest artists since 1978. Today, the company has grown its services and expanded to additional markets including live, brand experience, placemaking, and location-based experience.
Gallagher Staging and Productions offers a variety of products and services, setting the stage for concerts, red carpet events, corporate events, film and TV production, expos, activations, and more. From simple setups to intricate custom work, the Gallagher team has brought creative visions to life since 2011.
“We’re excited to bring Gallagher into TAIT to expand and strengthen our live entertainment offerings, creating more opportunity to meet clients where they are, no matter the scale of their productions or geography,” said Brian Levine, Chief Executive – Live & Brand, TAIT. “We will maintain the same products, technology, and commitment known from both companies while enhancing Gallagher’s offerings across staging and automation and adding a larger presence in Nashville, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area for TAIT.”
With a shared portfolio that includes work with renowned artists, brands, theme parks, and major touring productions, the newly integrated companies will expand their collective capabilities and capacity to deliver experiences that defy expectations for existing clients and new clients within markets like outdoor festivals and film and TV.
“Joining the TAIT and Gallagher teams feels like the natural next step in our company and builds upon the legacy we’ve created in the industry,” added Joey Gallagher, Gallagher Staging and Productions CEO. “We’re excited to bring our partners and clients new access to renowned automation capabilities and overhead rigging that will expand the possibilities for global productions.”
