Showlight has announced the launch of its brand-new website to coincide with the PLASA Show 2019.

Showlight 2021, the unique quadrennial lighting colloquium organised for lighting professionals by lighting professionals, will take place from 22-25 May in the beautiful French town of Fontainebleau.

The new website contains plenty of information to help you plan your attendance at the event whether you are interested in becoming a speaker, an exhibitor, a delegate or a student and more information will be added as the event draws closer.

Video clips of the last Showlight, which took place in 2017 in Florence, Italy, offer a tantalising taster of the kind of things you can expect at Showlight 2021 – this time with a little French flavour added to the favourite ingredients: an entertaining programme of conference papers and networking, mixed with plenty of socialising and opportunities to exchange ideas with fellow industry professionals.

Details on how to become a speaker, a sponsor, an exhibitor or a delegate or sponsored student are all available on the website, and you can meet the Committee and find out who to speak to for all your enquiries. Many of the Committee will be at the PLASA Show so, if you have any questions you can email them to arrange a meet up there.

Listings of Showlight 2021 speakers and exhibitors, and details of the visits programme for 2021 will be announced as each is confirmed, so keep your eye on the website and their social media sites to keep up-to-date with the news.

Better still, sign up to our NEW Mailing List via the website to have all the latest news delivered directly to your inbox.

The main sponsor for Showlight 2021 is the 100-year old French manufacturer of followspots and theatrical luminaires, Robert Juliat. Also signed up already are Platinum sponsors, Ayrton, Gold sponsors Eyetidy and SFL Group, Silver sponsors White Light and ACT Lighting, Inc, and Bronze sponsors PRG. Showlight 2021 is also kindly supported once again by media partner, LSI.

Being so close to Paris, Fontainebleau is easy to reach, with good connections to airports and Eurostar terminals. Demand is always high so book your place early. Booking details and hotel recommendations will be released closer to the event.
