The VHD high performance installation and touring system from KV2 has been designed to revolutionise the live sound market in terms of power, coverage, size and weight.

Challenging the more common application of line array technology, VHD builds on the KV2 philosophy of point source theory, offering drastically reduced distortion figures (up to 100 times lower than many comparable systems) and a hugely increased dynamic range that takes us to a new level of reproduction previously unheard in large scale audio systems.

KV2 meticulously considers the audibility limits of the human ear, and intensively focuses on creating technologies that make the listening experience truly superb. With VHD, it has created an active driven, vertically arrayable loudspeaker system that overcomes more obstacles and barriers to high definition audio reproduction than any other loudspeaker system.

The latest addition to the VHD Series is the VHD 1.0. Featuring the same compression driver as the VHD 2.0 but on a wide angle 110° horizontal by 40° vertical horn, the VHD 1.0 mid-high/down-ill enclosure features a single 12” low mid and single 8” mid range speaker taken from the VHD 2.0.

Designed to be powered as a slave from the VHD 2.0 cabinet or directly from the VHD 2000 amplifier, all EQ, set up and level are preset providing a plug and play solution for large scale touring and high quality installations. Alternatively as a stand alone box up to three VHD 1.0s can be powered from a single VHD 2000 amplifier. Like the VHD 2.0, VHD 1.0 is available in left and right versions for downfill applications.
