Show & Event Security is a reputable security firm supplying the touring industry with security and training, and won the Favourite Security/Crowd Management Company accolade at the TPi Awards 07
Show & Event Security has made financial and resource commitments in order to develop various training courses to meet the demands of the industry. The company has also invested a huge amount of money in a modern computerised system to handle complex event staffing requirements and other crowd management considerations.
Show & Event has developed a BIIAB, NCFE and City and Guilds approved training centre, which runs a variety of courses for stewarding and security operatives. The centre presents individuals with clear career progression paths and designs courses that aren’t exclusively specific to the role that a person will be performing — i.e. a safety steward will be trained to a full Level 2 NVQ Spectator Safety qualification.
The whole spectrum of NVQ levels one to four are covered within the syllabuses offered in house and several employees were completing the foundation degree in Crowd & Safety Management through Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (BCUC).
