HOLIDAY ON ICE: ELEMENTS

Mark Cunningham interviews Robin Cousins, the British figure skater who in 1980 won a gold medal at the winter Olympics in USA, asking him about his Creative Directorship of Elements, the new show from Holiday On Ice.

It’s only rock n roll, well, not always. In November 2007 TPi went to Hamburg to attend the world premiere of the new Holiday on Ice Show, titled Elements. The production, which will tour the world for three years, features an imaginative Truss system designed by Bart Clement and built by Litestructures - and indicative of the Holiday On Ice organisation’s new sophisticated approach to show production. Mark Cunningham interviews the show’s Creative Director Robin Cousins, the British figure skater who in 1980 one a gold medal at the winter Olympics in USA, asking him about the aspects of the Elements Show that make it a milestone production for Holiday On Ice.
