From May 6 until December 22, Kylie Minogue OBE’s 10th concert tour, X2008, saw the Australian pop princess perform across Europe, South America, Asia and Australasia. One of the top grossing tours of 2008, a film of X2008 was released on DVD in December.
With William Baker at the helm of all things creative and Terry Blamey in his long-time management role, X2008 featured the work of production manager Kevin Hopgood, tour manager Sean Fitzpatrick, production co-ordinator Juliette Baldrey, set consultant Charlie Kail, music producer Steve Anderson, MD Sarah DeCourcy, sound engineers Chris Pyne and Rod Matheson, LDs Bryan Leitch and Nick Whitehouse, video director Ruary Macphie, technical manager Phil Murphy, stage manager Toby Plant, backline techs Adam Birch, Marcus Lindsay and Nick Sizer... and many others.
X2008’s production vendors included Capital Sound, Total Solutions Group, Neg Earth Lights, Siyan, XL Video, Blink TV, Fineline, Specialz, Stage One, LiteStructures and Music Bank studios, The Rigging Partnership, United Visual Artists, Hello Charlie, Rock-It Cargo, ET Travel, Mojo Barriers, Transam, Phoenix Bussing and Popcorn Catering.
