Arena Group Secures Five Year Contract With IMG

Monday 11th July - 14.20pm

The Arena Group enjoyed a victory of its own as it supplied comprehensive temporary events overlay to the 125th Wimbledon Championship, where Novak Djokovic claimed his first Wimbledon singles title and rose to the top of the world rankings, with Petra Kvitova winning the ladies title.

Having successfully installed all temporary public grandstand seating around the outer courts and a wide range of design led hospitality facilities to house sponsors and guests, Arena experienced their own winning moment at this year’s championships, when IMG Media awarded Arena Group an exclusive five year contract to install event infrastructure at all of their golf events in Europe and the Middle East.

Ross Hallett, vice president of IMG Golf states:
“The Arena Group has consistently delivered high standards in all key areas of structures and seating engineering, safety, service and creative design that have allowed us to raise the standard of our international golf tournaments year on year. This five year deal underpins IMG’s commitment to continue to deliver a truly memorable experience for our sponsors and guests.”

Grahame Muir, Arena Group managing director comments:
“We are delighted to have strengthened our relationship with IMG to provide course structures, media facilities, seating and scaffolding. Signing this 5 year contract highlights the forward thinking nature of both parties, as we work closely to continue to innovate. This enables us to make investment with confidence in new event technology, which coupled with our creative solutions mean we can match and exceed IMG’s aspirations for their World Class golf tournaments.”
