Bo Hyun Choi Joins Robe Marketing Team
6 May 2011 - 15:20 GMT
Robe lighting’s dynamic marketing team expands with the addition of graphic designer Bo Hyun Choi.
Choi will be taking care of the visual aspects and design of all the company’s branding and marketing collateral, including the overall corporate identity, together with logos, merchandising, brochures, newsletters and all other printed and promotional material.
She will also be involved with exhibition booth design and potentially with future product lines.
Bo comes from a highly academic family. From an early age, it was obvious that she would be pursuing a creative career! She studied industrial design at Hongik University in Seoul, renowned as the best design academy in Asia, specializing in product and interior design.
After graduating, Bo continued her studies at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art (ENSA) in Dijon, France, studying 2D, 3D and spacial design, before moving to Prague in 2010. She speaks English, Czech, French Italian and Korean.
Bo joins Robe’s streamlined and highly efficient Marketing Department which is headed by marketing manager Jiri Baros and includes Lea Grygarová and Lukas Stancik.
Says Jiri Baros, “We are delighted to have Bo onboard. Her talents, imagination and fresh ideas will inspire all of us, and her positive can-do outlook and bubbly personality is a perfect fit with our team”.
He adds that with Hyun Choi in house, they will also be able to offer even quicker and more efficient supply of marketing, advertising, merchandising and brand ID materials throughout Robe's global distributor network, including customised work as required.
Bo comments, “I was really keen to work with Robe - they are an international company with great energy, an innovative and forward thinking strategy and some really brilliant people. There is plenty of room for us to grow and develop together, and I’m looking forward to being part of Robe’s success”.
Through interior design, Bo has also developed a keen interest in lighting and how it relates to and affects the built environments in which we work, live and relax. This is another reason she was attracted to Robe with the Anolis brand providing a nice link between her creative worlds and her new position in the company.
