Black Light Open Day 2011

Black Light’s Open Day, the biggest AV, sound, lighting and stage technology show in Scotland took place on March 18th and 19th. The event saw over 40 exhibitors in attendance and hundreds of different products on display.

“It was a great success, our clients and exhibitors all loved it,” says
Phil Haldane, Black Light’s Head of Company Development. “We had a
steady stream of visitors through the doors – everyone from school
theatre groups to event managers and architects.”

The event took place at Black Light’s West Shore Trading Estate
headquarters. It ran from 10am until 4.30pm on each day and gave
visitors a chance to talk to manufacturers and get a hands-on look at a
wide variety of cutting-edge products.

Among the companies that exhibited at the Open Day were: Coemar, Studio
Due, Martin Professional, Canford, Doughty Engineering, Le Maitre,
Robe, Shure Distribution, Green Hippo and Prolyte.

Now an annual event, the show looks set to grow in size and
