3 major players in the Danish pro audio and entertainment industry join the new Matrix Group

Matrix Group is the name of the new company that has set its mission to become one of the most important players in
the market segment of product supply to the entertainment industry.


“An important part of the mission for Matrix Group is to become a facility house with the right people, the best product lines and be market leader with high skills and knowledge about the things that we work with. The investment behind Matrix Group is done on a solid capital base, and we will become a major player in the industry. We have worked on this for a long time and the companies that are brought in to the group are a future investment, and we look forward to grow further”, says Chairman of Matrix Group, Claus Reher-Langberg.

With a strong line-up of companies working within the group, Matrix Group will become an attractive partner towards sales, installation and distribution of professional products to the industry from “day to day” distribution business to complex turnkey installations. With the Matrix Group the companies will also upgrade the visibility towards their existing customer & dealer network, and continue to expand this, due to the attractive portfolio of products, customer knowledge and a large history of turnkey projects done over the years.

With this we have a dynamic company with lots of experience, a complete setup of attractive products that we distribute and soon we have more interesting new product lines to tell about. Furthermore we will have a complete team that today serves a lot of the dealers and customers, and together we
have one of the strongest networks in our industry.

The individual companies will continue with their own profile and act in the market as they are currently doing. The big step up for the companies will be an added strength of joint management, economy and administration. Each individual company will be stronger with the possibility of working together and also the added value to the customers that can work and have access to more than one company within the group.

“We established the Signal Audio Company in a turbulent market, but can look back on a positive result. Within a year we had an interesting portfolio of distribution agreements and a good dealer network that has backed us up from day 1. With the entrance into the Matrix Group we can continue our mission to expand our distribution product lines and
furthermore the key staff can focus adding more time to support the customers. With the new group Signal Audio will become the distribution specialist in the Matrix Group and with the expansion we will certainly have something to offe”r, says owner of Signal Audio, Kasper Geels.

Distribution, Commercial Audio and large scaled turnkey project are some of the key areas in the Matrix Group and the portfolio of products are currently: L’ Acoustic, Arx, Aviom, Proel Group, Xilica, SM Pro Audio, Nordic Stage Systems, Adamson, ButtKicker, Sommer Cable and more. Furthermore the group is having sub-distribution or certified dealership
of: LAB Gruppen, Yamaha Commercial Audio, DPA Microphones, TC Electronics, AVID, Sennheiser etc.

Another focus area for the Matrix Group is to connect international buyers and sellers of 2hand pro sound, light, stage, AV and live performance equipment. This segment is based on a large network within Europe, so Matrix Group is always updated on what gear is available, and have all the information online at a specialized website dedicated to 2hand sales.

“If you look back on what installations that Moto Audio Sales and Nordic Sales & Staging has been involved in the last 5 years, you can see that we individually have been doing some very attractive installations that has had a lot of attention from our industry. Just look at the Danish Opera House, the concert hall at DR Byen to mention a few. So with the new operation we will supply each other with all our knowledge about installations and can offer the industry a team, and taskforce that you cannot get from another supplier”, says owner of Moto Audio Sales, Erik Falck

In January 2011 a couple of product lines will be added to the portfolio, and currently Matrix Group can announce that it has been appointed to distributor of Midas and KlarkTeknik, starting of January 2011.

Matrix Group is the place to get complete turnkey facilities and with the Nordic Staging System there will be a big focus on stage hardware in the group. The Nordic Staging System products are self produced and with several years of R&D and design behind. So today it is a complete line-up of staging systems and crowd barriers.

With own production it is possible to adjust to the market segments and to the needs of the individual sales and installations. The system is used by Comtech, Victory, Nordic Rentals, Tivoli, Ørkenens Sønner, Rubicon, Frontlite to mention a few.
